drums2015The Kissidugu Foundation is proud to present Camp Merveilles, first started in 2003. Named after Les Merveilles, the preeminent Drum and Dance Company from Guinea, the camps are hosted by Fara Tolno, in tribute to his mentor, thekemoko companies legendary Director, Kemoko Sano. Camp Merveilles brings world class artisans from all around African to share their cultural arts and heritage. With classes for all ages and abilities, this is an opportunity to study, connect, and celebrate through music, dance, and dialogue.

This gathering, hosted in partnership with Wofa Afro Fusion Dance and  Fara Tolno of the Kissidugu Foundation, will welcome artists to share in the spirit of African drum, dance and song.  The conference aims to impart a deeper understanding of the African culture both through dance and drum lessons, but also through panel discussions with our guest artists.  This is an event you don’t want to miss! Merveilles Hawaii
