Camp Merveilles

JULY 29th – AUGUST 3rd

The Kissidugu Foundation is proud to present the 12th annual Camp Merveilles, July 29-Aug 3.  Named after Les Merveilles, the preeminent Drum and Dance Company from Guinea, the camp is hosted by Fara Tolno, in tribute to his mentor, the companies legendary Director, Kemoko Sano. World-class artists from Guinea, Mali, Ivory Coast, Congo, Zimbabwe, and the USA will come together at beautiful Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, CO. With classes for adults of all ages and abilities, this is an opportunity to study, connect, and celebrate through music, dance, and dialogue.

We are excited that this year Merveilles will be a camp once again- allowing us to gather as a village for the week in the beautiful Colorado mountains at Sunrise Ranch. We are pleased to announce that Sunrise serves farm fresh organic  foods and will meet any dietary needs. Beginning with class and dinner on Tuesday evening, July 29th, followed by full days of classes Wednesday July 30th through Sunday August 3rd, and events or gatherings every evening. This will be the new home of Camp Merveilles, Colorado. We invite you to come be a part of starting a new chapter where we will annually gather together to share music, dance, culture, and community.
